Himalayan sound healing

Private sound sessions with hand-hammered Himalayan bowls, gong and crystal bowls — held in the quietest room at Zen Dayaa.

Himalayan singing bowls are an ancient form of sound therapy. As each bowl is struck and turned, the vibration spreads through the room and is felt through the body, gently drawing the mind out of its hurried rhythm and back into stillness.

At Zen Dayaa, every Sound Healing session is made as a pause that belongs only to you — nowhere to be, nothing to fix, nothing to try. You simply lie down and let the body rest, while the sound and vibration find their own way through the mind and the whole body, releasing and rebalancing as they go.

What a session looks like

You lie comfortably in a cleansed, quiet space, in light clothing and under a thin blanket.

The Himalayan bowls are placed around the body. Depending on your condition, some sequences use bowls held close to the body or turned directly on it — on the back, the belly or across the whole body.

The session opens with a few slow breaths, then a sound journey lasting 45–120 minutes. Layer after layer of tone and vibration follows, building a deep and still space. Many people describe it as being wrapped in sound and “soothed from the inside”.

When the sound ends, you rest for about five minutes in complete silence, so body and mind can return to their natural balance. A warm cup of herbal tea closes the journey softly.

Who is Sound Healing for?

  • Anyone sleeping poorly, sleeping lightly or waking through the night.
  • Anyone under long-running stress, with an overloaded mind or difficulty unwinding.
  • Anyone who wants a deep pause away from a busy pace of life.
  • Expecting mothers wanting gentle rest — the bowls also deepen the connection between mother and baby.
  • Meditators who want to use sound as a bridge into deeper stillness, intuition and awareness.

One Sound Healing session cannot solve everything, but it is gentle enough to let you set things down for a while, listen to your body and come back to yourself.

Frequently asked questions

Which session should a first-timer book?

The 45-minute introduction is the best starting point — long enough to feel the vibration, short enough for a first experience.

Is sound healing safe during pregnancy?

Yes. We keep a dedicated 60-minute session for pregnancy — no bowls on the belly and the volume kept soft.

What should I wear?

Loose, comfortable clothing. We also keep soft cotton wear at the spa if you would like to change.

Do I need to book ahead?

Please book on Zalo at 0822 000 803 — the sound room takes only one guest per time slot.
